What are Safeguarding Adult Reviews?
Under the 2014 Care Act, Safeguarding Adults Boards (SABs) are responsible for Safeguarding Adults Reviews (SARs). The aim of conducting a SAR or multi-agency learning event is that lessons can be learned from the case and for those lessons to be applied to future cases to prevent similar harm recurring.
